- मई 2007: सीबीआई ने पंधेर को हत्या और दुष्कर्म के आरोपों से मुक्त कर दिया, लेकिन बाद में कोर्ट के निर्देश पर उन्हें सह-अभियुक्त बनाया गया।
- 13 फरवरी 2009: विशेष अदालत ने पंधेर और कोली को एक किशोरी के अपहरण, दुष्कर्म और हत्या का दोषी मानते हुए मौत की सजा सुनाई।
